Children’s Day – EDUTHON, TASVEER, Band – Mohan Ki Leela, Drum Circle @ IWSB campus, Greater Noida

Dear friends,

You may be aware of SEE (society for empowering education – on FB), a school that is being run by our IWSB students on the CL campus for the last three years. Every year there are about a dozen volunteers who anchor and take care of the school.

Two of the PGP10-12 batch who have been active in running the school, have in fact, set up an NGO by name ANTRAL (Bridging the gap – on FB) as their purpose of life. They have opted out of campus placements too and started two more campuses for underprivileged children in Greater Noida and one in their home state. Bihar!!

This ‘children’s day’ weekend will be action-packed at CL/IWSB campus with a couple of endeavours to help the noble cause of facilitating children in these schools –

a. EDUTHON 2011 (Sept 13, 7-10am) – A 10km run starts from and ends at our campus – Students, faculty and also members of the corporates in the vicinity are expected to participate. We look forward to all keen to participate.
